Senior Brooke Inglese was one of just 22 students in Fairfax County to receive the 2014 Student Peace Award, presented by the Herndon Friends Meeting. Brooke founded the McLean High School Amnesty Human Rights Club and has done multiple fundraisers to help others in our area and abroad. Brooke is most deserving of this honor, and I am thankful she is part of our community.

Mary Diamond from the Student Peace Awards organization and counselor Barrett Kashdan present Brooke Inglese with her award. Brooke also received a book about peace.
