Autumn Brenner named one of top four student-athletes in Virginia

Autumn BrennerSenior Autumn Brenner is one of four students in Virginia awarded the Student-Athlete of the Year award by the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame and Museum. Brenner, a volleyball player with a 4.4 grade point average, was honored for her athletic and academic achievement and civic involvement. She is a four-year varsity starter, two-time captain, and two-time MVP on McLean High’s volleyball team, where she earned first team all-conference and all-region honors; she also is a setter for Metro Volleyball Club, a nationally ranked club team. Brenner has been the setter at the USA Volleyball Junior National Championship for five years, and was named a Phenom Athlete by the American Volleyball Coaches Association in 2014, a recognition of elite high school players in the U.S. She has signed a national letter of intent to play NCAA Division I volleyball for the College of William and Mary.
